Bio
Original circus-country and dixieland-swing with banjo, string bass, kazoos, & a triangle. Fast music at a reasonable volume. Skillfully sung harmonies. Songs about cheap liquor, loose whores and distinguished gentlemanfolk.

With toe-tapping rhythms, uproarious lyrics, impeccably tailored outfits, and perfectly charming manners; The Two Man Gentlemen Band is nothing if not fun! Whether they're performing for children in Central
Park, commuters on a subway platform, or revelers in a pub, the unstoppable duo of Andy Bean and Fuller Condon always gets the audience smiling.
The Gentlemen combine jug-band, swing, country, dixieland, bluegrass, gospel, jazz, and old-time styles to create a two-man sound that is all their own. Unwilling to confine themselves to one genre, The Gentlemen
describe their style simply as "Good-Time Music." The band’s shows are rowdy, interactive affairs.
The Gentlemen travel with huge boxes of kazoos, which they distribute for free at every performance. Audiences are encouraged to kazoo and sing along as much as possible. On and off the stage, these two young men are perfect gentlemen. They tip their hats for ladies, say Sir and
Ma’am, and even provide “Lessons in Etiquette” on the band’s website. Seldom are they seen without hats, ties, and cheerful expressions. After two years of full-time busking in New York City's parks and subways,
The Two Man Gentlemen Band now takes its act on the road. Look for them up and down the east coast this Fall & Winter!

The Gentlemen have been a favorite of mine for some time and, thanks to Fuzzpile, I swung back again this morning for a good listen and a re-read of the gents' profile pages. Uplifted my mood and made by day. My feet are still tapping, tapping.

Here for the fuzzpile. I've been here before a while ago... Your stuff is a blast through time, which I think is really important for a lot of people to listen to these days. I can almost hear "The Hindenburg Disaster" on a old black and white cartoon... cool stuff guys!

Tim Allen (who nominated you for the Fuzzpile #2) was right - you make your listeners smile [and dance]. Sounds like a sunny afternoon in the park filmed with an old silent movie camera :-)

"William Howard Taft" is a catchy little tune. I thought you were about to say "William------Howard--------- Taft---- got a great big A##:-)....but the track is amusing. This is a genre I am kind of unfamiliar with. But I am a firm believer in listening to ALL forms of this creative thing we call "MUSIC." Be sure to say hi to Cliff for me. I saw your band on the Fuzz Pile.
